“ Asti is always amazing no matter what! I used to come here on lunch for their pizza slices, which are delicious. I just ate here again today- it's been a while. I ordered the Italian sub, which my friends were raving about. It's seriously so good. One of the best Italian subs here in the suburbs! I will definitely be coming back for more. They have a large menu! Subs, pizza, pastas, etc. I highly recommend Asti. It's absolutely packed during lunch- always a good sign. The atmosphere is nice and the inside resembles an Italian village. Super cute! Can't go wrong grabbing a bite to eat here!!! ”

“ An amazing surprise! We were on our way to another restaurant, but realized it was closed the day after Thanksgiving, so relied on Yelp to help us find an alternative. We were looking for a good sandwich and we found the spot. Upon entering , we were so overwhelmed with all the selections. We ordered the Italian Sub, Steak Sandwich, their Special Sandwich, Lasagna and a variety of sides salads, soup and poppers . We had plenty of leftover! The sandwiches were very large and the bread was amazing. The sandwiches were the best and we will be back ! The service was excellent, they were so patient with us ! There is an area with tables to dine in and it looks like an Italian village. They do have lunch specials which are very reasonably priced. ”

“ Flavorful food, super friendly service, and nice cozy italian family setting. Fried Shrimp - this is the thing to come for, the shrimp are the most perfectly tender snappy shrimp I have ever had. The batter is nice and crunchy to give a counter texture. Pizza is nice and crispy thin crust with good amount of cheese. The proscuitto we got was actually crispy, yum! Italian Sausage - such a flavor blast, absolutely loved it Cannoli - the traditional one - this is the better of the two if you ask me. It's got a really nice crisp on the outside with smooth creme filling. It's a great contrast. I prefer this. Chocolate Cannoli - worth trying once - it has a harder shell than the traditional, if you want something harder, this is the way to go. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Fyi, this place gets quite busy starting around 11, prepare to wait 5-10 mins. They move fast though overall. Worth the wait if you have the time! ”

“ Cute spot. The interior motif is as if in a small Italian village or a street square type feel. Their menu consists of many Italian American favorites. Sub sandwiches are solid. Cold or hot. Pizza by the slice. Stopped in late one afternoon to pick up a carry out order of an Italian cold sub with hot giar and a fried Cod. Two cod portions placed into warm French bread and bathed in lettuce. For the spend, thrilling. Except for the pizza. Meh. Funny thing that day. My quoted time was delayed because the cashier that took my order was on break when the kitchen needed verification of an item. Between a waiter and one cook nobody knew what the protein was. It's on the menu mind you & in the name. Much confusion ensued. A loud back & forth wondering, what is COD?! I could have responded if any had asked me. Instead this went on awhile until a waiter came along to offer a new wait time. At that moment she ran into the original cashier who was seated near me on her break. Now the new discussion was what is COD and then, why didn't you just say fish!! Cashier and I shared a look. If this eatery were in my working area I'd probably be grabbing meals on the fly. ”

“ Wow. This was the first thing I said after sampling the Italian Focaccia Sandwich, I then proceeded to devour it nearly entirely. If it's not the best sandwich I've ever had, it's awfully close. The full portion is definitely big enough to share, and we also got some Italian Wedding Soup. It was also excellent, lots of flavor and the ingredients were expertly blended. The inside is quite cute and homey, with pictures of what must be the owner's family. I read a bunch of negative comments about the service in previous reviews but experienced none of it myself. Everything was exactly as it should be. 5 stars, well done Asti! ”
